Remain socially involved.

Social interaction helps ward off depression and stress, both of which can contribute to memory loss. Look for opportunities to connect with your friends and family, especially if you live alone. Take care of yourself.

Did you know?

There is scientific research that links solitary confinement to brain atrophy. Therefore, remaining socially active may have the opposite effect and ultimately strengthen the health of your brain. If you cannot get out regularly, I suggest exercising your brain by doing crosswords, reading a book, playing a board game or cards, and getting out for a walk in nature.🌱

We all have the same 24 hours a day and with proper planning and putting your top priorities first, it can be greatly beneficial to your everyday life.

If time always feel like an issue for you, here is a great tip:

Make your travel time a good time to plug into a podcast or audio book and learn while you drive.

It’s true! On May 31st, 1976, the concert show in London by “The Who” was so loud that a Guinness World Record was created. Later it was beaten several times by several other bands.🎸

Eventually, Guinness World Record stopped listing this record as many people’s hearing was being negatively affected by these concerts…
