Renowned entrepreneur and media strategist Deb Drummond is proud to announce that her landmark collaborative book, Mission Accepted: 262 Women Entrepreneurs, Ultrapreneurs, Creatives & Media Rock Legacy & Tell All, has been officially accepted for preservation by Library and Archives Canada (LAC).
This prestigious induction ensures that the stories and legacies of the 262 featured women are now part of Canada’s permanent national heritage. As a guardian of the nation’s history, LAC preserves documentary heritage for the benefit of current and future generations. The inclusion of Mission Accepted means these accounts of female empowerment and “gumption” will be accessible to researchers, historians, and libraries across the country in perpetuity.
“My heart is full,” said Deb Drummond. “To know that these women’s stories are now woven into the fabric of Canada’s national history is a solid milestone. It’s a testament to what happens when we show up, stand up, and brave up. We aren’t just publishing a book; we are leaving a permanent footprint for the generations of women who will follow.”
The 546-page anthology features a diverse group of authors from across the globe—spanning industries from film and music to tech and trade. The book serves as a “vibration of empowerment,” encouraging women to take their next step in bravery while providing actionable insights for business and personal success.
The announcement marks a celebratory high point as the movement transitions into its next phase: 262.20. With the original book now safely housed in the national archives, Drummond and her team are inviting a new wave of authors to contribute to the growing “262 Legacy,” continuing the mission to amplify women’s voices worldwide.
Mission Accepted is currently available on Amazon and through major retailers including Indigo and Barnes & Noble.
